High West Distillery & Saloon

This award-winning distillery opened in late 2009 after a 4-year, $3 million renovation of two historic park city buildings.

Hammerton created a custom lighting package with a contemporary Western flair inspired by the town’s mining heritage. Lights feature intriguing materials such as oat-hued burlap—a nod to the building’s original purpose as a stable for the silver mine workhorses—and Utah-mined honeycomb calcite. Hammerton also fabricated the distillery’s outdoor signage from wood used in construction of the original building over a century ago.
