A 30,000-square-foot residence in Las Vegas presented a project to the award-winning architectural team at Swaback Partners with plenty of room for creativity, innovation, and – of course – drama.
Stepping inside the home, you are immediately met with soaring rock walls and exhilarating floor-to-ceiling windows. Authentic craftsmanship and a peaceful, zen-like aesthetic complete the serene look and feel of the space.
With dramatic scale, however, comes difficult design challenges. The residence needed fixtures that would both unify the open floor plan and complement the unique architecture. Hammerton was happy to take on the challenge.
The Hammerton team custom designed five 13-foot tall sentry pendants to float from the three-story ceilings in the entrance hall. Complementary ceiling lights with Asian-inspired mesh and ecoresin structures were crafted to add interest in more intimate living spaces. For the game room, our designers incorporated steel, mica and distressed walnut in a pool light fixture that reflects the aesthetic of the adjacent shoji-paneled sitting area. A honey onyx-paneled chandelier was custom crafted to create a breathtaking centerpiece and provide a gorgeous glow in the dining room.
